Where did the sun go?
Rain rain rain. Blah. I can't remember the last time it was sunny here in DC. Maybe last Tuesday or Wednesday. It has been gray and overcast for several days now. I'm ready for some 70 degree temps and sunshine.
Although the weather was crappy, the weekend was good. I saw some great basketball games (Michigan State beating Duke and Kentucky was outstanding), some art and had plenty of good food. We visited the National Gallery of Art on Saturday for the wonderful Toulouse-Lautrec exhibit. I'm ready for a visit to Paris now. The exhibit runs through June 12, and the wait in line is worth it.
Before hitting the museums, we walked around the Capitol Building, through a Taiwan protest, and stopped for lunch at Teaism down by the Archives-Navy Memorial Metro stop. Nice little place, I'd go again.
Yesterday's Easter brunch was at Bilbo Baggins, an Old Town Alexandria favorite.
