Welcome Spring and March Madness
Ahhh, March 1st. By my calendar, it is the first day of Spring. I survived another winter, mostly snow-free. Bring on the 70 degree temps!
March 1 is also the start of March Madness, the annual race to Selection Sunday and the NCAA Tournament. The madness kicks off tonight with a monster road game for IU at Wisconsin (9:00 EST tip off). I can't wait. Go Hoosiers.
The sun has done its job here in DC, melting away yesterday's snow. Temps should rise throughout the week, although we may get a clipper system over the weekend with a mix of rain and sleet.
I have been a little lazy with reading since the return from Mexico (although my Spanish lessons via the Rosetta Stone software are coming along). I just picked up The Geographer's Library by Jon Fasman. I still need to finish Ghostwritten by David Mitchell and Last Flight Out by Randy Wayne White. I plan to catch up with the reading very soon.
