Monday Roundup

IU's late season run continued yesterday, with a thrilling overtime victory over #9 Michigan State, 78-74. This was IU's biggest win of the season, and their best effort overall. Bracey Wright paced the Hoosiers with 32 points, and freshman center DJ White added 17 points, including the tying shot to send the game to overtime and several key buckets in the extra period.

IU is now 14-11, 9-5 in Big Ten play. Tomorrow, IU faces another tough test on the road at #20 Wisconsin. A win in Madison would surely send the Hoosiers to the NCAA Tournament, setting the stage for a final game at Assembly Hall against Northwestern on Saturday. First things first, Indiana needs to take care of business in Madison and keep winning in the Big Ten Tournament next week.

It's a Monday, and once again it is snowing in Washington DC. I hate snow, but I wouldn't mind getting a snow day today. Hopefully this is the last bit of winter, I'm ready for Spring.
